One day, when I went to my son’s house, I saw two police officers taking my daughter-in-law away. What I discovered that day deeply shocked me.
Before, my biggest worry was taking care of my flowers in the garden. Today, I don’t even remember the last time I slept a full night.
My life changed the day my son married Clara. She seemed perfect. When he brought her home for the first time, I felt something strange, an unease I couldn’t explain.
Clara was pretty, sociable, polite… but despite everything, something about her bothered me. After their marriage, my son became more and more distant. He rarely called me, and only came to see us during the holidays, sometimes even without Clara.
